Rules
NOTE: The competition timeframe has been set. The first PGC will run from May 28th to June 25th. Be sure to mark your calendars! ;)

These are the rules for the Pixelate Games Competition. The Project refers to the game which is submitted by the Entrant. The Entrant refers to the person, or persons, who submit(s) the Project.
  1. The Project must utilize the Allegro Game Programming Library.

  2. Any other material used in the Project, whether it be source code, data, or other libraries, must be written solely by the Entrant during the contest timeframe, or be available to the public at least 10 days before the beginning of the contest. These 'other materials' must be supplied with the Project and will count towards the size limit.

  3. The Project must conform to the Requirements. If it does not, the Project will not be subject to winning the competition.

  4. The Project must take up no more than 1.5 mb(1536 kb) of space, in archived/compressed form, unless otherwise stated by the Requirements.

  5. The contest timeframe lasts from the release of the issue of Pixelate in which the contest is announced, until a date twenty-eight days later, unless otherwise stated.

  6. All entries must be uploaded to the internet for public viewing before the end of the contest. The URL which points to this entry must be sent to master_goodbytes@hotmail.com before the contest is over.

  7. The breaking of any of these rules will result in the disqualification of the Project from the competition and the public humiliation of the Entrant ;)
